Uruguaiana is a municipality located in the
western end of the state of Rio Grande do Sul , next to the river border with
Argentina and Uruguay. The city has great international commercial strategic
importance, considering that is located equidistant from Porto Alegre,
Montevideo, Buenos Aires and Asuncion; and because of the importance in the
national agricultural production , boasting the lead in rice production.
